Independent crafters unite. Share customers while advertising your own business or blog. 1. Create a banner (120 x200) to submit. 2. Fill out the form to join the ad co-op. 3. Wait for instructions on how to place ad co-op code into your site. 4. Sit back and watch your site grow! Read on for more information or sign up now. Who can sign up? Anyone who has an independent, crafty, punk-rock, blog, site or store can contribute 1 banner to the co-op. Owners of any website or blog can sign up to provide display space. But will this look tacky on my site? Not at all. There's a section dedicated to banner presentation. These guidelines will help you to create banners that are tasteful. In addition to helpful design tips, each banner is screened for composition and are subject to be edited into a more tasteful composition (so no one has to worry about mucking up their site). CraftJoint also provides tips on how to display banner space on your existing site. So, why should I sign up? There are loads of reasons to help yourself while helping someone else, but the number one reason you should sign up for the Craft Joint Banner co-op is to create community and share customers with the community and let the community share customers with you. Select what you want to do from the TWO options to the right. You can either host co-op banners on your site without contributing your own banner or you can contribute a banner to the co-op AND host co-op banners on your site.If you only want to display co-op banner space on your site (and don't want to submit a banner) just complete the info to the right and copy and paste the code for site/blog owners into the code (HTML, PHP, etc.) of your site. CraftJoint Banner Co-Op Participant For site owners who want to put their banner into the co-op as well as display co-op banners, fill in the form. Then copy and paste the code for co-op members. Only one banner space is needed (even if there are like 10 banners in your co-op category). Then, as banners are uploaded to a folder on the server (taken care of by CraftJoint) one banner will appear in the designated space across participant sites. Banners will be chosen to display at random by a script. I don't want my customers leaving my site Don't worry, the great thing about the banner co-op is you never "lose" a customer. When you create community you create a ring, customers are shared not stolen. You see, a customer can see an ad on your site and click it, leading them to another site, and on this site they now see a banner for you. The customer clicks that link and is right back where they started. No one is lost! So, just think of it as a loop of good business. Banner size requiremenets?
